Maybe it was the hype. Maybe I waited too long to watch it. “There’s Something About Mary” was definitely worth watching on a Friday night at home, but wasn’t all I hoped it to be. We did watch the “Extended Version” on DVD rather than the “Theatrical Release.” I thought it needed editing, which the theatrical release may have had. I’d say watch it, but watch the shorter version. (134 min.)
Oh, the much-ballyhooed hair thing was funny.
