Kansas City Confidential

This suspenseful ride starts with a frame and ends with a dame. In “Kansas City Confidential,” John Payne is set up to take the fall for a clever bank heist. After the cops let him go, he trails the true culprits to Mexico. The bad guys, including wild-eyed Jack Elam, are bad and even the good guys are a little bit bad in this classic film noir.
